TZH-S100A Barcode Scanner: Reset & Pairing Instructions
Use this guide to reset and re-pair your TZH-S100A scanner if it’s not connecting properly to your hardware setup. This typically occurs when the scanner is set to the wrong communication mode, preventing plug-and-play functionality.
Remove the USB dongle from the tablet stand. Ensure it is not connected to the system during the reset process.
Scan the Factory Reset barcode below. The scanner will:
⚠️ Important: Do not touch or interrupt the scanner during this time. Wait until the flashing stops.
Factory Reset
Note: After scanning “Factory Reset,” all settings of the barcode scanner will be restored to factory default settings.
This sets the scanner to communicate correctly via the USB dongle. Scan the Communication Modes barcode below. The scanner will:

You now have 60 seconds to insert the USB dongle into the tablet stand’s USB port.
